Background: Aisha is a member of the Ctarl Ctarl race, a spacefaring beast-like people living many years into the future. The Ctarl Ctarl Empire is one of the strongest military forces in the galaxy, rivaling the human-controlled Terran government in size and power. Aisha's childhood, while not greatly expanded on, has been described as surprisingly normal: she grew up in a small town on the unnamed Ctarl Ctarl homeworld, with a loving family and many friends. For generations, the Clanclans had served as proud members of the Ctarl Ctarl military- as far back as she can remember, Aisha wanted nothing more than to make her ancestors proud and uphold the great name of the Clanclans.

The young catgirl threw herself into her studies starting at preschool. She crammed her free time full of every extracurricular activity she could, crafting a résumé more solid than the Rock of Gibraltar. Attacking her textbooks with the fury of a full-blooded teenage Ctarl Ctarl, Aisha flew through high school with top marks. She was brilliant, charismatic, hardworking, and busty, all of which were great career traits in the Ctarl Ctarl military. In the end, Aisha Clanclan had only one fatal flaw, and that flaw was Aisha Clanclan.

Her temper was her downfall. Despite being a genius when it came to combat, military procedure, and mechanics, common sense-wise Aisha was... well... kind of a dumbass. Thanks to her hotheaded and gullible personality, a certain rival of Aisha's was able to trick her into losing her temper during graduation and destroying half the auditorium. Thanks to a power play by her father, Aisha was still allowed to graduate- however, she lost her position as the #1 student to the rival, and was forced to graduate as- to her eternal shame -second best.

Shortly following the Greatest Temper Tantrum The Galaxy Has Ever Seen (which was itself followed by a lot of sobbing, ice cream, and old movies), Aisha collected herself. She was never one to say die. There was only one way to regain her lost honor, and that was by achieving the highest honor granted to a Ctarl Ctarl: space travel. After being promoted to the position of Ambassador Plenipotentiary, Aisha bid a fond farewell to her friends and family and assumed command of the Empire flagship Orta Honehone. Her parents, having long since grown used to their daughter's eccentrics, wearily granted her their blessing.

Aisha's newfound career as a space captain started off with a bang. On its way for an ambassadorial mission to Blue Heaven, a Terran satellite outpost, the Orta Honehone landed smack dab in the middle of a dogfight between notorious space Outlaw "Hot Ice" Hilda and a group of criminal outlaws hired by the MacDougall brothers. Aisha demanded that all parties involved get the hell out of her way, but when an asteroid damaged the Orta Honehone, she flew into a rage and gave the command to open fire on all ships. Although Hilda and her companions Gene Starwind, Jim Hawking, and Melfina were able to escape the Empire's wrath, Aisha managed to capture the lowlife outlaws who'd been hunting them. From the criminals, Aisha learned that Hilda was in pursuit of the mythical "Galactic Leyline": the legendary "control center" of the universe said to house a fantastic treasure (Aisha immediately assumes it to be "dragonite", a rare and expensive mineral used to power spaceships).

This was it! If Aisha could find the Leyline and bring the dragonite to her superiors, she'd be the hero of the Ctarl Ctarl! Or heroine, or whatever. She immediately swore to hunt down Hilda and obtain the coordinates to the Leyline- by force if necessary.

...Unfortunately, this was going to be harder than it sounded. Aisha's crew, who pretty much hated their borderline crazy captain, immediately reported the damage to the Orta Honehone to the Ctarl Ctarl homeworld behind her back. Aisha was stripped of her rank as captain- she was ordered to remain behind on Blue Heaven and gather information on the Leyline while the Orta Honehone returned to the Ctarl Ctarl homeworld for repairs.

Luckily, it just so happened that while tantrumming her way across Blue Heaven, she managed to recognize a certain red-haired man passing by: Gene Starwind, one of the men who had been in Hot Ice Hilda's company. Hilda, however, was not present. Aisha immediately seized Gene and demanded to know where Hilda was: to her shock, he calmly replied that Hilda had been killed shortly after escaping. Aisha was taken aback, but rallied: if this oddball trio had been traveling with her, surely she had told them the coordinates of the Leyline!

She immmediately told this to Gene, who replied that Hilda hadn't told them jack. Aisha accused him of lying. Gene accused her of being a nutjob. And the hunt was on. Aisha surprised Gene with her strength, nearly taking his head off with a single kick. She hounded the trio into an alley and acknowledged Gene's fighting skill, but condemned him anyway: she reminded the heroes of the Ctarl Ctarl's transforming abilities and, grinning maniacally, declared her intention to rip them limb from limb.

"I'll show you the true power of the Ctarl Ctarl! YOU'LL REGRET IIIIIIT!"

...Aaaaaaand nothing happened. The Ctarl Ctarl's transformation abilities varied depending on the phases of the moon, and Blue Heaven, it turned out, didn't have a moon at all. Oops.

Gene and friends temporarily escaped, but Aisha quickly caught up with them and threatened them a second time. She displayed the amazing resilience of the Ctarl Ctarl as Gene slashed at her side with a knife, only for the blade to bounce off as if striking metal, prompting the bewildered Outlaw to comment: "What the hell is your skin made out of, lady?" Proudly declaring that she was only using half her strength, Aisha once again summoned her energy to destroy Gene once and for all... only to fail yet again, collapsing on the ground in exhaustion after having spent too many calories.

Taking pity on the apparently idiotic catgirl, Gene and Jim treated her to dinner, during which Aisha devoured pretty much the entire table. Aisha explained her situation to the trio over the meal, and when it was finished, proceeded to advance on them again, declaring that "Terrans are suckers, nyahahaha!" and explaining that a true Ctarl Ctarl never allows the compassion of enemies to hinder them in their duties. Gene withdrew his gun and threatened to shoot her if she didn't buzz off, to which Aisha bragged that a mere bullet can't hurt an "immortal" Ctarl Ctarl. Turns out she was half right. The Caster shell Gene used was no ordinary bullet, and while it did fail to kill her, it stunned her long enough for Gene and his friends to cheerfully make their escape and leave her with the bill. Stuck washing dishes to make up for the debt, Aisha swore eternal vengeance on Starwind and his companions, shrieking that "THIS ISN'T OVEEEEEER!"

True to her word, it wasn't. After having snuck off while the resturaunt owner wasn't looking, Aisha hitchhiked her way to Heifong, where Gene and his friends had been lasted sighted. By sheer luck, she happened upon a passing Ctarl Ctarl vessel who hadn't yet heard of her demotion: Aisha used the opportunity to pull rank and commandeer the vessel, using it to catch up with Gene's crew as they participated in the Heifong Space Race. Using a fake distress call as a trap to trick Gene into letting her onboard the newly dubbed Outlaw Star, Aisha snuck aboard and threatened him yet again.

It was then, however, that Aisha realized that both she and Gene shared a common goal: the Galatic Leyline. Ignoring Gene's protests, she declared a temporary truce between them and officially joined the motley crew of the Outlaw Star, becoming its fifth and final member. She quickly proved her worth during a battle with the Macdougall brothers, in which she acted as a living scout to take the place of the failed camera pods that the Macdougalls were outmanuvering. From then on out Aisha, while never exactly trusted by Gene, became a friend to the other crew members.

She traveled with Gene and crew throughout their adventures, during which she had a notable moment of her own: becoming the Strongest Woman In The Universe. Gene's homosexual friend Fred Luo had asked him to somehow see to it that the fourtime champion failed to win: Fred had promised to marry her if she won five times, believing that she wouldn't pull it off. Gene crossdressed as "Jenny" and attempted to win, believing that he could kick a bunch of girls' asses easily. (He was defeated in the first round.)

Aisha had attempted to enter the contest at Gene's begging prior to the "Jenny" fiasco, but Ctarl Ctarl had been banned from the tournament after one went berserk several years ago and killed over nine hundred people in the audience, wounding thousands more. Aisha, of course, only heard one part of that: "You're not allowed in." Enraged and offended, she kidnapped a contestant named "Firecat", stole her costume, shoved her in a locker, and entered under her name. After "Jenny" was defeated, Aisha tore her way through the tournament until only one woman stood in her way: an extremely powerful woman later revealed to be Iraga of the Anten Seven, the strongest of the cruel Kei Pirate assassins. Aisha barely managed to defeat Iraga in a fair fight, only for Iraga to transform into a gigantic wolf: turns out she was the Ctarl Ctarl who had caused the disaster all those years ago. Swearing to bring honor back to her race, Aisha finally made good on her longtime boasting and revealed the true power of her beast form: she transformed into a large white tiger and defeated Iraga in a spectacular battle that demolished the entire coliseum.

This incident apparently led Aisha to become the official Strongest Woman In The Universe, although the fact that she entered illegally makes it somewhat dubious. This has not prevented her from bragging about her new title to everyone ever.

Aisha was overjoyed when the crew finally reached the Leyline. Said crew was less than happy with her. Turns out Aisha had been calling home and contacting the Ctarl Ctarl military every time the Outlaw Star docked, leading the Orta Honehone after the Outlaw Star like a lost puppy. Unfortunately, the Kei Pirates had beaten everyone to it: they had set up a heavily guarded perimeter around the Leyline, intent on piercing its defenses.

Since the Outlaw Star had Melfina, the Maiden of the Leyline, they were able to succeed where the pirates had failed, and broke through the Leyline's outer shield. The Orta Honehone, however, was stopped by the pirate defenses and forced to retreat after taking heavy damage. Aisha was disappointed and showed pretty much no regret for her apparent betrayal of Gene and the others, who reluctantly accepted that they had bigger problems and decided to let it go. Nevertheless, with her loyalties to the Ctarl Ctarl suitably fufilled, she was ably to fully commit to Gene's cause.

Aisha ultimately redeemed herself after being separated from Gene alongside Jim. The duo was attacked by Jukai- the eldest member of the Anten Seven, and Hazanko's right-hand-man. Telling Jim to get to safety, Aisha gleefully transformed and threw herself at Jukai, who despite his age and lack of limbs was renowned as the greatest Tao wizard in the known universe. The battle was fierce: Jukai created a giant tornado and swept Aisha up, nearly killing her. In the end, however, Aisha's sheer doggedness ripped holes in Jukai's defenses, and she collapsed to the ground- naked, exhausted, and incredibly triumphant. (It's at this point she is pulled into Memento Eden.)

Although Gene and Melfina got what they wanted out of the Leyline, Aisha did not: the Leyline disappeared without yielding any sort of treasure whatsoever. Demoted, penniless, and suitably crushed, Aisha wearily resigned herself to working as a waitress yet again in order to procure enough funds to hitch a ride home. As Gene, Jim, and Melfina left Sentinel III in pursuit of their next adventure, however, Aisha and Suzuka popped up on the ship and declared that they were tagging along- Aisha had temporarily put aside her loyalty to the Ctarl Ctarl, deciding that she had way more fun hanging out with Gene's crew than working in the military.

Personality: Loud-mouthed, violent, and eccentric to a fault, in terms of energy Aisha is a supernova crammed into the body of a voluptuous catgirl. Whether it's anger, self-pity, or happiness, you can rest assured that whatever emotion she's feeling, she's feeling it about ten times as intensely as a normal person. It doesn't seem that her race can be blamed for this: although the Ctarl Ctarl are shown to be a warlike and honor-obsessed people, judging from her crew's attitude Aisha is apparently a lunatic even by their standards.

Aisha's world essentially revolves around herself: she is incredibly self-centered and egotistial, caring about no one's goals but her own. Despite this, she is extremely proud of her race, never missing an opportunity to boast of her people's obvious superiority to humans. Not all of her comments are just bragging, though- Aisha is an incredible warrior, having single-handedly killed two of the greatest assassins in the known universe. She claims to be "immortal", but this is untrue: the Ctarl Ctarl do age, albeit at about half the speed of a human, and while they are incredibly difficult to kill, they are far from invincible. The exact limits of their mortality remains unknown, but Aisha considers a lake of boiling lava to be a "hot bath".

While she possesses seemingly endless zeal and determination, Aisha is rather naive and easily distracted- especially by food. The Ctarl Ctarl's great strength requires a phemonenal amount of calories to maintain, and their appetites are roughly thrice the size of a human's. While she may not have much going for her in the common sense department, Aisha is a tactical genius, and can be rather sneaky and manipulative when the situation calls for it.
